Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Anyone have a clue for a private transfer from Ontario to New Brunswick?
Been just over 2 weeks now

The wait times are enough to make me leave Ontario.

That should speed things up.

Seriously, Ontario and Quebec have more firearm transfers than probably all other provinces combined.
I'm not saying this shouldn't be fixed but it is understandable.

Only made one call 2 weeks to ago to the CFO for an update, no Ombudsman involved.

I think the whole of cgn should start a campaign where we file a complaint with the ombudsman at the s week mark. Maybe getting a few hundred complaints per day will put some grease on the cfo gears...

I don't think it's understandable at all. I have a VALID licence which enables me to purchase restricted firearms. When purchasing restricted firearms from a business licenced to sell firearms I should not have to wait 10 weeks before they can ship it to me. Pointless. Can you imagine if you had to wait weeks after purchasing a new vehicle for Service Ontario to register it to you. The government gets off on inconveniencing firearms owners.

he means Registration Certificate to arrive in the mail after a transfer is approved,


and In my case, my latest restrict Registration Certificate paper arrived exact 2 weeks after the transfer was approved.
