Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

That's the first one for June that I have heard of. Thanks for the update. It gives me hope.


The first May 31s started arriving around June 24, so they are taking approximately 2 weeks per peak date, assuming May 31 to June 3 volumes are somewhat consistent. You can maybe estimate:
June 1: done by July 29
June 2: done by August 12
June 3: done by August 26

Note I'm adding a week here because I'm assuming not all May 31 are done.
Maybe it'll be quicker after that as things were out of stock

Ordered June 27th from G4C, got a transfer reference number the next day...
By the sounds of things I'll be lucky to see my shadow systems by Christmas.
 
Got my babies today. I love my postal lady. Actual brings packages in her truck and pulls into my driveway.

June 1 purchases are already being approved and shipped.
 
After calling hundreds of times to get some transfers put through, then finally emailing the ON CFOs office, asking if there is another way to do this more efficiently, I actually got a call from them today.
All my transfer requests have already been placed, but she did say that before the rush, the transfer times in ON were about 4-6 weeks, and likely 8-9 weeks at this point.

This info will be going in my complaint to the Ombudsman, basically that they were slow to begin with compared to other provinces and they are still slow now.

Did you notice at the bottom of the email it said:

"Please be aware that given our Office’s role and function, we are unable to speed up, or otherwise change the prioritization of your CFO transfer application."

If they get their butts kicked enough by the Ombudsman they may bring in additional staff temporarily which will speed up everyone's in general.
 
Waiting on my June 1 transfer. Reference number begins with 5910###. I will let you guys know when I hear from Tenda.

My #58863xx was filed online by store at 5:10pm May31. That leaves 2300 or so filed filed in between. Some stores stayed late to do the entries of first full day’s chaos
