Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

The one from Feb 23rd approved today March 8,

9 or 10 business days depending on how you look at it.

Also in red lettering:

**Effective Immediately Transfer Notifications purpose is to take possession of a newly acquired firearm and no longer serves as a temporary Registration Certificate** // ** À compter de maintenant, les avis de cession ne doivent être utilisés qu’au moment de la prise de possession d’une arme à feu nouvellement acquise; ces avis ne sont pas des certificats d’enregistrement temporaires.**

Probably got tired of answering the same question a million times

Shame. Glad they cleared it up at least.

Just checking to see if anyone has any updates. Just my typical luck I always get the long line or wait where ever I got. I have two Ontario to Ontario private started March 3 and Manitoba to Ontario private started March 5. Can any fellow Ontario CGN'rs let me know their latest experience. Last year at this time in Ontario we were waiting up to 12 weeks, So anything is better,

I had one go through in 17 hours and my most recent took 2.5 weeks.

Thanks rentedzone and John2020. I appreciate the update. I called the Ont CFO yesterday to give them some friendly encouragement. Fingers crossed. Every time I purchase a new restricted its like waiting for Christmas to arrive.
