Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Ontario dealer to Ontario individual, application submitted on May 21 with the reference#.
Phoned CFO asking to put my email address on file for notification.
May 27, got the call from deal informing me the registration is completed and the pistol is ready to be picked up.
So it is 4 business days (Victoria holiday excluded).
I never got the email from CFO though.

Called today and it was approved at around 11:00am this morning. As I hadn't set up for e-mail, the nice lady said that the store I had purchased it from had been sent the e-mail with regards to the transfer. I got in touch with the store and they have received nothing as of 1:30pm today. If I don't hear from them on Monday, I'll get in touch with the CFO and ask for them to send me an e-mail so that I can forward it to the store. With this in mind - 4 days (sort of as I'm still waiting for it to be shipped).
 
Ordered May 9th from Ontario store Alberta CFO approved on May 28th hadn't contacted store about approval by June 2nd so I forwarded the letter to them and they shipped right away. Apparently it is out for delivery today, so basically a month from purchase to in my hands.
 
I guess things are going backwards again. They were ok at 2-3 days for awhile.

I'm over a week now....nothing.

it was fun while it lasted.
 
just bought a pair of revolvers from auction, so hopefully it is not long. I assume this will be initiated monday or tues, but there will be a lot of guns to transferr.

I called to initiate another transfer and asked them about the transfer from the dealer I’ve been waiting on. He said it was approved by the Ontario CFO the day before. Normally I call and ask for them to advise by email when the transfer is completed but I didn’t do that for this one.

Unlikely it would’ve made a difference. I requested email notification on my last 3 transfers ( all in June) and only received notice on one. I also should note, I received the email notification 8 hours after the store was sent approval. I have no idea why they would be sent at different times.
