Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

It looks like they are still working on mid June. A June 15th private to private transfer 59374xx was approved Nov 17th. The same June 15th transfer numbers for business to private were approved Oct 30 and 31st. So that looks like private to private are about 18 days behind, at present. So my best guess now is to look up your transfer numbers on Wolf's chart and add 18 days to what it says.

Anyone whose ordered a custom gun has had the experience and probably for a lot longer than 6 months. My custom shotgun was 18 months, a year longer than what I expect to wait for the handgun I ordered in August.
 
Transfer initiated June 23 received transfer notice today, 59494XX Business to private transfer. It did show up on my ISW account a few days before the transfer notice was emailed to me.

I purchased two handguns at an auction on August 28. I knew it would take several months for the transfer to go through so I haven't really been paying attention to what's going on until now. Reading this thread I see everyone mentioning reference numbers; I never received one of those. Are they sent by the seller or by the RCMP? Other than reading people's individual updates based on their reference numbers, is there a way to check the status of transfers from the RCMP or the Ontario CFO?

I'm sure the answers to these questions are somewhere in this 564-page thread, but I would appreciate if someone could save me the several hours it would take to scan through and find them.

Contact seller or contact CFO to get the number. You only need it to follow up.
