Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Is anyone else here waiting for Sep 3?

I'm still waiting on a 60220xx from Sept 2nd initiation which was an ON auction to ON private.

I purchased two handguns on the same purchase/invoice and received transfer approval of the first of the two but it was a 60226xx transfer number, got confirmation on that last Thursday the 16th.

Apparently the 60220xx is just stuck on a slower employees desk still...

I don’t think those have been approved yet. I would be happy to be wrong as I have a few coming up in the next 3 weeks time for approval.

I’m assuming these are just additional data points for the chart in regards to initiation dates, not approvals.

They’re currently in the mid 6024000’s. There was a batch of random higher numbers done last week that have the chart messed up now. Yours could be done tomorrow or in a couple weeks. Hard to say now.

There can sometimes be a couple day delay in it showing up in the ATT list and the email coming out..... Junk mail perhaps?

We've had a lot come in today but nothing higher than the number I posted yesterday. Today has been a large back of consignment firearms we had in and some from the 8th and 9th.

I had one like that back in January. It was a few days before I called the CFO office and ended up that the email was sent to the registar but not to the buyer/seller. She fixed it on the spot and sent the email to e and seller.

I would give the Ontario CFO office a call. 1-800-731-4000 hit 1 for english 1 for know ext and then ext 7503 to bypass the sales pitch
