UPDATE: Rossi Ranch Hand Mares Leg

Well this is the largest loop i will have owned but i really don't have a problem with it. I don't mind the looks at all.

I'm going to give it a try, and if i like it well enough i'll give up the regular lever on my other rossi for a large loop. I expect others would as well. I kind of like having a little more room for my hands in the loop. Also - makes great brass knuckles for fighting zombies :D

Got an idea you'd have no trouble finding a member to swap your loop with. I know I'd be interested.

Well i'll play with it a little first. But unlike some of you guys i kind of like the look. I'll see how useable it is.
 
man I really hope they get in tomorrow... at least the guy in camp got his maverick hs 12 in the mail today from wanstalls, he's lovin it! It makes me want my gun!

the large loop is good if you want flip #### it..... I wouldn't do it with a loaded gun though.... pretty much hollywood stuff (the rifleman, T-2)
 
I picked up one of the .22 mare's legs. Someone on here suggested using a single point bungee sling with the saddle ring.

It turns out that works amazingly well! It really helps hold the gun steady in the aim. It is also handy for carrying because the gun is so small and light.
 
I think I will also run a single point bungee sling on mine.

I have been making and evaluating a few of my own homemade bungee slings, I think I will have mine all setup just in time for my gun to arrive.

There is a broad price range and quality level on ebay, but Garry has some pretty good ones at Wanstalls. They are made by Voodoo Tactical. I don't think they are on the website, but there are tons of them in the store in coyote brown, olive drab or black.
