Terrorists are those who carry out violence or the threat of violence for political or personal gain, such as the radical Islamists our taxdollars are supporting in Syria. I'm just looking to chat with people who've woken up to what's going on here, so we can demonstrate publicly, write letters to newspapers, challenge our politicians about the evil they're going along with; A peaceful resistance to the rising spectre of a third world war, a nuclear war.
And its YOUR peaceful book now is it?
Luke 22:36, the LORD's Son speaks to his flock, warns of adversity and the need to be prepared for persecution. Strange how you'd take this "peaceful" approach, yet have a "warning shot" pic below your posts... Why would a responsible sport shooter need to provide a warning shot??? And why would someone who would not provide a warning shot question me about what Luke 22:36 means? Is the PC mask you wear put on to ward off CBC investigative journalists?? Or do you guys just play macho and then wet yourselves at the thought of having to one day deliver?

Again you misinterpreted the text St Luke writes so clearly, please read Luke in it's entirety or at the least start at Luke 22. Jesus does not speak to his "Flock" nor does he warn anyone of adversity or the need to be prepared for persecution.
Jesus speaks with his disciples, first to Peter and John to "Go and prepare us the Passover that we may eat"...he then gives them direction and the last supper as we all know it is had. Jesus the prepares his disciples for what he knows is about to happen...as most of us are aware, he converses with Peter (Luke 22:34) And he said, "I tell thee, Peter the #### shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me"
Luke 22:35 And he said unto them, "When I sent you without purse, and scrip and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, "Nothing".
Luke 22:36...you have it accurate
Luke 22:37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
Jesus is telling his disciples to in fact prepare. However the preparations are to concern themselves with the fact that they must carry on after Jesus' own persecution, humiliation and murder.
Let's now go to a pivotal point and one that demonstrates the peace of Jesus.
Luke 22:47...And while yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the 12, went before them and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.
22:48...But Jesus said unto him, "Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
22:49...When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, "Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
22:50...And one of them smote the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear.
22:51...And Jesus answered and said, "Suffer ye thus far." And he touched his ear and healed him.
So put into loose context, you will see that even when faced with certain prosecution, torture and execution, Jesus shows (as he does many, many times) that violent actions against others is not God's will or want for us.
Yea, it's MY book, as it is the book of law that holds my conscience accountable...who are you accountable to?
