Lets see I am in a long fire fight and cut off from support troops and run out of 5.6 ammo and there is a bunch of Ak's laying around with ammo and I can't figure out how to make them run properly as my goverment didn't see fit to at least show me how the enemy guns work let alone test fire one. Anyone who pretends that arming "the Syrian rebels" (Al-Qaeda) is run-of-the-mill, business as usual, especially given the events of September 11th 2001, is not paying attention. Our leaders are courting WW3 with the Eastern powers. The people with the "tinfoil" comments are usually the same folks who said the RCMP and Military would NEVER perform mass confiscation of firearms, as we saw in High River.
You can mock about "conspiracy theories", but I'll stick to my conspiracy facts. The US executive branch, as well as Congress, are moving in a sinister direction. I respect people's opinions but I ain't waiting to find out if this all blows over. Trudeau may well win an election and take EVERYTHING; "just watch me"; he's a UN Agenda 21 believer who really would go that far. That coupled with these latest US federal government purchase orders is worth concern for those who can read between the lines.
That's is NOT what anyone is talking about, you haven't been listening at all. Read other peoples' posts again.
Besides, if a nation is indeed arming another nation/faction, that is not new at all and in fact is business as usual. If you think that's not the case, take a look at most armed conflicts for the last 1500 years or so... if that's too far back, look at the Cold War. Doubting is good, but a when a doubt stands without any evidence or facts, it should itself become the subject of a doubt.
Cowards, excuse artists. I won't sit around and pretend there's no problem while US, Canadian, British governments give "humanitarian aid" to Islamic extremists... Russia has troops in Syria fighting the Islamic extremists we're funding. The same ones who attacked us on September 11th.

When looking at US history they have suffered far more attacks from Christian Fundamentalists than Islamic ones to date . Terrorism is an issue but like gun control the MSM/Pop culture has blown it way out of proportion . US special forces teams DO train with enemy weapons they may encounter in their area of operation 2 500 000 rounds is a very small drop in the bucket for the US army.That being said the US DID supply the rebels a few times too.

Again you misinterpreted the text St Luke writes so clearly, please read Luke in it's entirety or at the least start at Luke 22. Jesus does not speak to his "Flock" nor does he warn anyone of adversity or the need to be prepared for persecution.
Jesus speaks with his disciples, first to Peter and John to "Go and prepare us the Passover that we may eat"...he then gives them direction and the last supper as we all know it is had. Jesus the prepares his disciples for what he knows is about to happen...as most of us are aware, he converses with Peter (Luke 22:34) And he said, "I tell thee, Peter the #### shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me"
Luke 22:35 And he said unto them, "When I sent you without purse, and scrip and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, "Nothing".
Luke 22:36...you have it accurate
Luke 22:37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
Jesus is telling his disciples to in fact prepare. However the preparations are to concern themselves with the fact that they must carry on after Jesus' own persecution, humiliation and murder.
Let's now go to a pivotal point and one that demonstrates the peace of Jesus.
Luke 22:47...And while yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the 12, went before them and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.
22:48...But Jesus said unto him, "Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

So put into loose context, you will see that even when faced with certain prosecution, torture and execution, Jesus shows (as he does many, many times) that violent actions against others is not God's will or want for us.
