This is how it looks now:

Similar length to the TAR21 with a nearly 20" barrel. Ambidextrous. Adjustable stock. Beautiful. Money well spent, I think.

For under 3k, really... for VHS? From the looks of this ugly duckling I don't think I'd part with more than $500, even if it was in Blu-Ray.

Thanks for the updated pics Jarvy, definitely crossed the $500 threshold... but, IMO, if you're going to spend close to $3k, why not spend a touch over $3k and get a swiss made 550 series. I don't recall the eastern European regions having a great reputation for manufacturing refined, quality products... just saying - no offence intended to anyone out there. Besides, as above, it's been over 2 years ~ they might never make it here!

No offence taken

But please do not generalize, not all eastern european countries have a bad reputation for manufacturing and quality. Croatian industry has developed good quality products such as the XD series pistols, optics, sniper rifels, combat helmets(used all over the world) , remote demining machines(used by the US military in Afghanistan and Iraq), and other military gear.
Esthetics aren't everything

Here's a new vid in English from the Small Arms Defense Journal

We have been in talks with the manufacturer about the VHS assualt rifle.

Not meant to start a 'war of words' here but do you think that calling this firearm an 'assault rifle' is going to help with your application for rcmp classification for permissable import and retail sale?

Let's not get started with what the anti- gunners think about this loosely used term!

Also, FYI dealers posts can be read by anyone without having to log into cgn or be a registered member.

Regardless, I commend TI for doing all that you can to introduce and import new firearms to the Canadian markets!
