I hope I have found the answer to my problem. Ordered this up from BullsEyeLondon.

Nice setup. I bought a similar configuration (Vortex 1-6x30) with low rings. With the scope at 10.5" in length with about 3.5" eye relief I find I need to get the scope forward about 2 to 3 inches. I cant seem to find any companies here in Canada that sell a cantilever mount with 2 or 3" offset.

Anyone know of any Canadian outfits that sell cantilever scope mounts?

Does adding a red dot to your VZ58 significantly improve the rifle... just asking cause I am considering this... however the rifle in question shoots fantastic with iron sights... a question of saving my $$ or not

Glow in the dark nail polish or fiber optic front sight is better than any cheap red dot.

I got a question for yall. How come on some VZ's with ar stocks the stock is pointed on a downward slant. Looking rly awkward. But for example in the VZ posted above the ar stock is on a nice level plane? Is this due to different stock adapters people are using or what?

Yes its different stock adaptors that you can buy. The one with the slant is how the rifle comes stock so you can use the irons, the one thats straight helps with use of a scope.

I knew it. So which adapters are the "Straight" ones? The slanted ones look ugly IMO

The one above is the NEA stock adapter. Discontinued good luck finding one .

NEA also makes another one which is what you see on my rifle. Im pretty sure I bought mine from SFRC, they are members on here.

I was under the impression the prism sights like the Vortex Spitfire had a 3-ish inch eye relief? (@post #318)

Did you have any issue with sliding the VZ304 onto the side mount? I just purchased the 304 and it will NOT go on.. Yes I released all the tension off the locking piece... the rails do not mesh with each other.

Sorry just noticed your question. I had no prob with it going on the side rail. Not sure why your having problems.
