WARNING: Critical flaw in FNS pistol

Same Same here! Did get a short reply saying "Haven't got to it yet".
Lol, no, I got an email saying the parts were in stock and would ship immediately,,,2 emails and two months have passed since then without a response and no parts that were to " ship immediately "
You would think that with a known problem, they better pray no one shoots themselves while waiting for a part from a safety recall,,that's a lawsuit waiting to happen, but Grech don't seem to care about that lol

I emailed a couple of months ago and they never replied. I tried again a couple of weeks ago and the reply received indicated that they were waiting for more parts. Come on FN USA we need the wee fiddly bits.

A huge mailer envelope showed up today with the new striker. It's a straightforward install and
there are some good videos on YT if you search "FNS-9 Striker". The one I watched was for an
FNS-40, but all principles apply. Do it in a clear plastic bag so that your springs and other tiny
bits don't launch themselves into the corner dust bunnies if you let go. Tools used were a single
pick to take spring tension off when removing the back plate. The rest just requires dexterity
and good lighting.

Yeah, just received mine last week also. Might give it a go this weekend if I have a chance, seems pretty straight forward. Hope everyone who is waiting for one sees them soon

So what does this do than the factory striker doesn't do...?

Got no issues with my original strikers, even if they have the problem as posted in the first page of this thread. I do not see that situation ever happening to me, so I haven't bothered to replace my strikers, yet. Someday I"ll get to it. Perhaps if I get bored during this lockdown, although I never get bored with several hobbies and an awesome wife.

I don't compete so have no need to squeeze the last iota of performance from my guns.
