And another beauty..

You don't like it because it doesn't have white spacers everywhere.

What white spacers?

Ok, so did you order a Legend then or just shooting the breeze? I don't have the guys phone number to bother him about people yapping on the intranet so your the expert.
I do have a close friend that owns two of his Legends and he waited a total 2 years for the first and 2.5 for the second. That was over 5 years ago now for sure. I would guess that when your country is exiting the largest recession since the thirties the lead time on your $10k synthetic rifle might shorten or you might expand shop when your stinking busy. My bad.
Darcy crafted that original Legend for McMillan like over 10 years ago, I had no idea Chuck the lucky dude held the original. And for the record you can have a hand laid blank done in that manner, we had Eddie Mech convinced to do it at one point.
How's your stuff?
And as innovative as Roy was, he still liked selling gimmicks.

I held the original lefty blank that went to McMillan. It's not quite so old. :D

That includes you Chuck.

You should take note of this part:

You should try it sometime, then maybe guys will stop thinking your such an arrogant p......

Arrogant? I did not say "he knows more than anyone on this site". Anyone I say! When he doesn't.

Is making more than $9 an hour arrogant as well? Come on.

When I saw this thread running to 18 pages in 10 days I was a little afraid it would run into a pi$$$$ing contest.
I have never owned a Weatherby but appreciated the potential the cartridges generated, and the stock designs.
When allowed to fire a .340 Weatherby in a synthetic stock is was impressed with how the recoil was absorbed, rating it about the same as my .338 Winchester in a Remington 700 Classic.
Appreciate the collections, and when you don't like what someone else is saying you have the right to say nothing.
Guns are like people. Some are pretty and some are ugly and some are pretty apt to stay that way. Regardless, some of the comments were ugly.

I think I'd like to sit down and have a beer with you some day.

Yes, arrogant and somtimes beligerant too.

Believe it or not, there are some old timers out there who don't spend time on CGN. They have better things to do, like forgetting more then you'll ever learn. ;)

Nuts, I forgot about this little gem.

No, making more then $9 an hour does not make you arrogant in the least. But thinking that making more then $9 an hour somehow makes you a better person or your opinions are more valid because of it does make you arrogant. Your not saying that, are you Chuck?

It is $15,500 now...for a McMillan stocked Winchester M70. And you say Roy liked selling gimmicks....

Very nice rifles and some nice trophies as well.

You're going to have to scope that .270 Wby Lasermark and start dropping some with it.

I Bought it as an investment Gun :D However I should probably shoot the darn thing....I was actually considering selling it a few weeks ago and useing the money for a new shotgun, however now I think i'll hold on to it.

Not sure if your a Fan of the Lasermarks as much as the synthetics but If you are canadian tire on macleod trail in calgary has a 257 Wby Lazermark that has better wood than my blond Lazermark.the 257 has burled walnut....

I want to get another Lazermark. I had one about 10yrs ago and foolishly sold it.
Beautiful wood!

You also foolishly sold your .378 Euromark :( It also had an amazing piece of Walnut.

I came close a couple times to contacting you about it. It would have made a nice companion for my .340 Euromark. In fact I almost bought it from the original seller but you beat me to it:D He also had a M70 Laredo in 7stw as I recall. I wonder who ended up with that one as well ;).

I very much appreciate the beauty of a well figured piece of walnut however I find myself often leaving them in the safe come hunting season. Too scared to ding them up.

The composites are much more utilitarian but at least I don't worry about them.

Yeah, I have to start rebuilding my Mk V collection back up. It was a momentary lapse and will never happen again 

Unless you can purchase a gun for far less than the going market value, your chances of making a good profit are slim. Shoot the gun, and enjoy it.

I did get it for under market value, but not by.much...$2200.00 nib
I have the 270 wby dies and brass but cant afford the scope right now due to the 7mmstw and z3 scope.

But ur right I should shoot the darn thing
