I used furniture stripper, the gel type...brush on a light layer, let it set a couple mins (doesn't take long and you don't need a thick layer of stripper), and then scrub and scrape it off, it comes off easy...I used scotchbrite pads and plastic scrapers, took 2 or 3 cleanings, the first one is pretty messy (2 layers of primer under the dip)....and then a tooth brush to scrub out the checkering on the final cleaning
need to wear gloves as the stripper I used burns, and I wore a mask, nasty fumes to be breathing in....(plus I installed epoxy flooring all through school, I've inhaled enough chemicals for a lifetime, pretty cautious about that crap now lol)
next step is a light sanding, degrease, and then prime and paint
