can you take a pic of the inside of the top of the reciever with the bolt and carrier removed?

Here are some "internal" pictures. But I'll stop here... before I'll end up taking the barrel off :D

ohh someone peed in clavens coffee... maybe it was me  i didnt know my aim was that good, what with my 83 posts OMG!!! boy, THAT was a ##### slap. C'mon man, seriously, grow up. treat all new mwmbers like that and soon enough you'll have the whole board to yourself

Wow... a whole 83 posts huh?

Actually Claven, that is somewhat rude. There was probably a time, a while back when you too had 83.
Now if we can get back to this thread, that has already been hijacked a couple times. :D

Norcy, what the hell's up with those pics you promised? I don't like being in the spotlight

I got mine in today. :D  :D

Wow it is a nice gun. All I have is Milsurps and to me this is the closest I have been of owning a new gun.

Everything looks minty on it. Came in a new CZ box. There was a light coat of oil all over it. The grey paint on the metal is well done. The wood is weird but it's different. Nice color owner's manual. Factory test target...cool. Big Ass mag pouch...cool !!!! Man those mags are ROCK solid !!!!, look brand new.

The only thing that needs work is the bayonet. Dirty.

Besides that I'm a super happy camper. Can't wait to shoot it !!!!

Hmm, one thing I notice is that the striker and the carrier are 100% intact. On the VZ58's they have the F/A side on both parts milled off. Interesting they got away with not touching these parts.

I could be wrong but maybe the wording of both Marstars and Wolveriens ads to say "New production" is to try and stay away from saying that these are made from old surplus FA rifles and have them all be prohibited by our Gov, and not be able to be enjoyed by anyone without a grandfathered licence.

Just a thought

Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding.

We have a winner!

Oh yeah, and we can MICROANALYSE the carbine. This is often done by people who cried since 1992 "we can't get the rifles we want!!!!" I consider them not helpful to the cause. IMHO they all need a big cup of STFU. Can't we just enjoy our carbine without all the BS?

Just because ollie's only got 80something posts doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's talking about. The VZ-58's do look something like an AK and they're as close as we're realisticlly going to get and anyone that disputes that is blind nitpicking. The 'VZ-58 isn't brand new' debate/trashing has been done to death, leave it alone already. I haven't been here that long and I'm already sick of it. Enjoy the new rifles, a non-restricted that looks similar to an AK-47 that shoots cheap ammo and is easy to maintain, should be awesome. Note to self, start saving cash. :D

You can bet your ass I wasn't spouting off pretending I know f_ck all about stuff that happened over a year ago when I hand't even HEAR of CGN ;) And I certainly never said I wanted to buy something because it looked like an AK

I trust you're even old enough to own firearms?

He was just saying it was rude, which it was. So was that.

I noticed that too... the internals are mostly intact.

I'm sure it's kosher and all, but sure makes you wonder...
