Welcome to the ATF SBR-9 restricted FRT 197619

Yes, everything is the same, it will use all the same parts the are compatible with the Glock 17 Gen3. LPK, slides, barrels, etc...

Will original features like interchangeability with glock parts be affected in anyway? And is the design posted in the original still what it's going to look like but simply made out of aluminum? Thanks for the update regardless :)

That's not really the case. Some of their concerns were just small design changes which have been completed. We feel machined billet will be a much superior product. All and all, it's about putting the best rifle in the hands of the people.

It sounds like the lab rats are intentionally increasing costs to hamper this project.

Update:

As there were a couple changes made under the recommendation or guidance of the RCMP prior to the releasing of the new FRT we have decided to machine the complete ATF SBR-9 out of billet aluminum.

There will be a marginal cost difference but the overall product will be stellar in comparison.

We are still a couple weeks out from from having a finished production rifle. We will keep everyone in the loop.

Does "complete" include the stock as well? This thing is gonna look wild as a fully aluminum firearm and I'm all for it

I was already quite excited about this project, but changing to a metal manufacturing process is really getting me revved up. Please post pictures of production samples as soon as you can!

Willl the initial offerings only be black or will there be another colour option at launch? Also, what’s the timeline for he NR versions?

The NR version is currently in development, it will be sometime before it will see the retail market.

We are currently looking at other color options or bi tones, for now black is the color of choice.

We have upgraded and modified the mag release to a Gen 5 ambi.

We are currently exploring aluminum coatings for the rails, As of now PEO and Tufram are options of choice.

There are also a couple of other tweaks regarding the rear stock design and some other visual esthetics that will increase that wow factor.

As keeping up with all the emails has been challenging we kindly ask you email admin@irunguns.ca with your contact information, please make the subject line ATF SBR-9 if you are interested in purchasing one.

Given the overwhelming interest we will prioritize the email enquiries first.

We will not be taking deposits for pre orders but this will get your name on the list.
