It does look sweet but I should have specified (pics and info on how you modded the stock).
Thanks man
I'll have to pull it apart sometime, but as part of the rear "sleeve", the rear one has a block that saddles under the barrel/action, there is a hole drilled in it for the actions foreward screw/mount pin, that is basically a bolt extension, this aluminum block is epoxied to the carbon sleeve and barrel, and acts as a spacer to get it to sit the right height off the inner alloy chassis.
The rear of the rifle, on the B mag, the mounting point is a threaded hole through part of the trigger assembly, it is some sort of cheap metal that stripped, I up sized the bolt to 1/4"-20 and drilled and tapped it for an oversized bolt, the chassis was just notched with drilling and filing, then a piece of aluminum was epoxied (JB welded) into place, then the Bmag was given a light coat of grease, and bedded into place with some more JB weld. You can see the bolt handle I made for it too, it's quite simple, though not as glorious as some of the oversized lathed bolt knobs out there, but less awkward then the stock bolt handle, in the last picture it's sharing the soapbox with my old lakefield MK II that I've molested a bit as well.
Despite all the pieces of aluminum and JB weld, I would consider this a much more rigid stock then the original, though thats not hard to beat, but at least as stout as any other rimfire I have I suppose.
