I had MP10 before and MP11 wont even play the video. That other player is a 646-byte download so I'm hesitant to downlaod something that small. I have lots of video problems on this computer, no idea why. My Quicktime does really funny things too.

I've used that player for years, trust me, it's solid. Just because something isn't bloated with crappy code and spyware, doesn't make it useless or unsafe ;)

Try VLC, it'll solve all your codec and video problems 100% :D

My QuickTime plays everything in purple. Every version. VLC plays it fine.

Just can't wait for the Non-Restricted version to come home :)

+2! Such a happy camper I will be...wifey asked what I was looking at, and I told her next years roof for our house....didn't go over so well. :D

Also even I had problems with the Vid, and I have all the latest updates, and my 'puter, and internet connection is well above and beyond most requirements. :(

Wow, That's crazy.

I'm also still a little hazy on the 30rnd details. Maybe it's because I've been away for a while, I dunno. I Was onboard with the Storm and the 10rnd Beretta clips but the numbers still aren't working on this one.

Lemme get this straight. So Any AR compliant mags manufactured using tooling for AR-15 and M-16 mags are prohib. This Remington 7615P uses mags made by remington, but they used AR-15 M-16 tooling so they are prohibited. You are sayin you want to machine your own mags, for use in the 7615P that will circumvent the idiotic laws?

Am I close? I am really interested in what exactly you are planing to do. This may be one of those things that makes me buy one of these rifles (Preferably Non-restricted). Logically this brings me to my next question. Are other people gonna be able to get these mystery mags are are we gonna have to go out and get them built?

VLC is a great video program. The problem you are having with the video is most likely Codec related. Either you have conflicting Codecs or you need a codec pack. See if you can get your hands on the K-lite Codec pack. That's what use and I never have video issues.

If the arn't pinned to 5, yes.

Correct. They bought mag dies from DPMS and told the RCMP that. They advertise the mags that comes with the 7615p are M16 mags (as a selling point, in case you have an AR15 too, you can use the mag in both). Hence, they have to be pinned at 5.

Correct. My 20 round full capacity mag should be finished on Thursday. I'll post some pics when it's done.

The RCMP told me that once they receive it for evaluation, I will have a legal letter stating it's status within 14 business days.

Once that letter is in hand, I'm going to try and get ANYONE to get some made from scratch dies made up so we can get some nice 30 and 40 rounders (at a descent price).

So...much...cool...stuff...so...little...money...in...bank...

AAAAARGH!!!

I would think it's way to early to think about those. Until the military contracts are complete I doubt they'd even consider a civi version.

I'm finishing my PhD and just got a job offer. Starting next week.
Guess what ? Now I can afford one of these freaking FS2000 :dancingbanana:

Put me on the list for those 5.56/.223 30 rounders...

Can the barrel be easily swap out for an 18.5" ?

Man, this is incredible; just imagine... bullpup, semi-auto, non-restr., 30-40 rds.... Am i dreaming ? :D

Ok, here's some other stupid question (sorry, didn't read to whole thread):
- are there two distinct chambering (5.56/.223) or is it just because people can register them as either caliber (nomenclature thing).

- How do you attach a sling to the front part of the rifle ?

- What's inside the lower portion of the buttstock ? looks very cumbersome
