Well, Now They've Declared War.....

Don't know if you can belong to more than one political party, but you could also join the Liberals, and change their agenda... Wink

You most certanly can - although as odious as it sounds it might be better to join the NDP. Many of their members are very critical of Layton's 'gun bashing' - a lot of those boys are blue coller types who vote ndp for the union angle - not the social agenda. If the NDP were to suddenly soften on guns, the libs would be in a bad place. "infecting" the liberals would take a lot more time, but it's not a horrid idea.

But the conservatives have to come first. Most are 'against' bad gun laws, but they still have a lot of sympathy for a lot of gun control, and little appetite for really "Fighting" for it. If we were to show them that the gun community represents a major asset - NOT JUST VOTES - then we'll be to them what quebec and ontario soccor moms are to the libs.

Those soccor moms dont' just vote - they volunteer. THey make their KIDS volunteer. They raise money. They do a hell of a lot more than just vote. THat's why they're so precious to the libs - if we were just as valuable we will OWN them.

The last election was a 'live fire' excercise for the CPC - they'd never fought together as a group, most of the volunteers were new. THIS time - we have to learn from what we did right at wrong last time and KICK SOME SERIOUS ASS.

Not that many of us went out and actually helped last time - many did, but no where near what it should have been. This time - it must be different from word go. And we must do it AS GUN OWNERS.

SAP rules!!

Mark,

Please keep us all informed as to your progress.
I'm sure it will effect all eventually.

That's not a bad idea... we should organize some type of protest or ralley. That'd open their eyes a little bit. We gotta get in their face!

Rallies were held twice. Ms. Mclellan told us "the debate is over".
There never was a debate. The Liberal government raped gun owners in Canada.

Thats what im saying.

If your party hates Canada so bad..then ####ing leave.
That's what we've been trying to do since 1976. BTW. We don't hate Canada at all. We just have different views and culture. But enough of this, now. We aren't here to speak about separatism, but to speak about the Liberal's harrasment of gun owners.
Point taken. I shouldn't lose focus I guess.

Canadians

Right now we are all Canadians and we are all being screwed over by our looser govt. once this is dealt with I am sure there is a sepratist forum somewhere to continue that rant....

E-mail sent to my MP and cc'd to Gary Breitkreuz. I copied Mark's original post in my e-mail.
Mr. Casey
This information was posted on a Canadian firearms web site by a decorated member of our Armed Forces . The liberals won't rest until they have taken away all the legally owned firearms in Canada. I happen to be one of the million plus gun owners who have never broken a law or been arrested that they are attempting to make into criminals.
I'm also a sworn peace officer employed by the federal government. I can tell you with the utmost confidence that bill-C68 has done nothing to keep firearms out of the hands of criminals. The deaths of the 4 RCMP officers in Alberta is tragic testimony to this fact.
I have voted for you every election since you first entered the political arena and have followed your comments and the comments of the PC party closely in regards to bill C-68 and your party's intentions towards it if you are elected. I know Garry Breitkreuz, MP is the official or unofficial spokesman in regards to this .
However my question is..when is the PC party going to start giving this billion dollar fiasco the attention it deserves? The money stolen in the advertising scandal pales in comparison to the money wasted keeping this paper tiger on life support. Now we have the government secretly through lies and deceit rendering legally owned firearms useless.
I look forward to your thoughts and the plans of the CPC party in restoring Canadian firearms owners faith in the government of Canada and doing the right thing by striking bill C-68 from the books..
Sincerely

so it may have been mentioned But what lawyer are we going to fund for this battle i am in i can devote some funds as much as i can ill pay were do we go how do we fight

Easy up on Necro. He's perfect to give the message to his party that the problem is not les anglais, but OTTAWA and it's incessant messing with the lives of ordinary people. The Libs are a minority government. If the Bloc can (more to the point will) stir it up, so be it!

Agreed and I apologize for jumping Necro and hijacking Marks thread.
Now..back to the issue at hand.

Sure i did! Being pro-gun and souvreignist aren't mutually exclusive!

The souvereinty issue aside, the Bloc are anti-gun socialists who voted for and supported the gun registry from the start. Supporting the Bloc in regards to their views on firearms is the same as supporting the Liberals. The same can be said for the NDP.
The only reason for voting for a party other than the Conservatives would be if the candidate openly rejected the firearms registry & C-68 and was on the recorded saying he was prepared to vote against his party's policy in the house of Commons.

i have contacted both my MP and MLA i will be meeting with 1 tonight and the other on tuesday argh #$@%$@# were do we go guys with this

Drill them on the stress you are undergoing because of the large $$ investment in your prohibs......
Then tell them either reverse it so you can shoot your prohibs, or compensate you for rendering them valueless.
