I believe that this may apply in your case but only to some civil servants. The reason our government does work is that most civil servants are dedicated professionals that believe in their work of public service. These people are to complimented and are Ladies and Gentlemen

Then there are the others that the first group must complain about not just for your benefit and mine, but because they pull the whole organization down into the gutter, and discredit it with incidents as the ones you describe. My grandmother did not suffer these fools lightly as they also "poop in their own nest" and that of their co-workers. Her words would have be simple and to the point. She wasn't attacking the person, but more effectively their behavior when would say:

"These people are just cattle"

Mark Twain also had something to say in these "infected civil servants" ( I would call them "insurgents" ) but I have modified it to suit you case as the politicians have no idea what others "beneath them" are doing in their name. They are neither "civil", nor are they "servants"

It sounds like the RCMP needs to do another "diaper change" or the RCMP will be covered in "S...T". I am getting really sick of this and I hope that Commissioner Robert Paulson is also. Perhaps before he retires he can deal with this matter and at least one of people who is causing grief and bringing "....the administration of Justice into disrepute" (an actual quote from a Judge in another firearms case). Maybe you will get the same or a similar Judge and, also petition for damages? That is if Commissioner Paulson and his staff does not get there there first and "open the cargo bay door and hurl your tormentor to whence they came", for the good of the force. They already have the ###ual harassment cases to deal with and it would be better if your tormentor was "shown the door" Pension optional for what amounts to as corruption; - abusing a position of public trust. While not as serious as the serious ###ual harassment, or even rape cases (without consent or under duress)? it is along the same line of criminality; The air of impunity which can never be tolerated in the Civil Service

I couldn't justify dropping that kind of cash on a toy.
Like I said I was rooting for you all. It would have been cool to see.
I'm just saying I never thought it had a chance in hell of making through the RCMP lab. I knew they would do whatever they could in whatever way to make sure this one got blocked.
It's a shame but predictable.
 
Dredging this thread up, there's no other semi-auto RPD designs out there that could be submitted to the RCMP lab or any other possibility of bringing semi-auto RPDs into Canada for us collectors?
 
I call every few months and talk to Walter, he is still fighting with the RCMP, he keeps offering my money back or to sell me a stag 10 lol.
 
Yup. Gotten nowhere. When I call every so often I get an answer. Same thing here, offered a Stag 10 and no info on the RCMP lab. I even sent an email to info and walter asking to talk about thE Stag 10 option and no response. Brutal customer service for us that dropped 3k to AE and have waited YEARS.
You can't.

Haven't gotten a response since September. Not even when I asked as part of my order of a Stag 10.
 
They used to be great at answering... even if it was to say no change. Usually some sort of info in what they had been doing behind the scenes.

Now the emails are getting ignored. I'm sure if it gets approved they won't be concerned about selling off cancelled orders. They will be more expensive for sure but desirable.

Keeping existing presales would be a loss of funds.

Maybe calling the lab would get an answer on progress.
