Some places.
Toronto Police and OPP use Winchester Ranger 180 grain .40
OPS (Ottawa) uses .40 Win MJHP for duty & FMJ for range
Never heard the term MJHP before, care to share more?
Every place I've been, for duty ammo. I'll re-confirm with the Provincial Firearms Instructor...
Assumption here: Metal Jacketed Hollow Point
I don't know what they used for duty ammo.
But their training ammo in 40S&W, seems to be, either:
Winchester WinClean 180gr. BEB
or
Winchester Ranger 180gr. T-Series

OPP duty loads are .40 S&W WIN Ranger T-Series 180gr.
RCMP uses Winchester SXT 147 grain hp 9mm, as well as Remington Golden Sabre 147 grain hollow point. The old crusties still have the Teflon coated Black Talons in their mags.

For training, the OPP use Winchester WinClean 180gr. BEB. Don't know what they shoot people with, though.
