What caliber would like to see the Ruger No.1 in next?

I would like to see a No 1 A/H in 280AI, add a 338 Federal chambered in an RSI and for the 1A the 260 Rem.

Cartridge wise I'd be pleased with 8x57 or 404 Jef. That being said a stainless laminate 416 Ruger could be attractive.

I'm pretty vanilla I guess. I handled a number 1 stainless laminate in .270 win at the range one day. That particular rifle in .270, .280 or maybe 7mm rem mag would certainly scratch an itch for me.

Like others though, I would find a scaled down , lighter weight version in maybe something from the .308 family quite appealing.

There's a few I like to see, 7x65, 358 win 17 hornet, but before they do any new calibers, they should bring back deceit wood, a very noticeable difference from the older number ones, to current as far, as quality walnut goes.
