Just ordered a Remington 750 Woodsmaster carbine in .35 Whelen. It should be about right with a Williams peep.

cheers Darryl

bush gun

Lately I have been packing my Remington 700 30-06 carbine with the 20 inch barrel as my bush gun. :D The 220 grain RN let you know it's a short gun. It has a 3x9 on it now but I may put a Leupold 4x on it.:dancingbanana:

94 in 30 30 or my 99 in .300 savage.the 94 is lighter but the 99 is a much better rifle in every way except weight and I'm afraid to damage it,it's such a pretty gun.All original except for some tasteful sling mounts.

Ruger mini30 with 3200 2x7 has been a good little rig for me but if moose are on the menu the old Browning blr in 308 with a 3200 2x7 is the 'go to' rifle.
