What happens if the OIC IS temporarily suspended on Jan. 20th?

Peoples are so pessimistic, the Court gonna break the OIC. Now if you were diagnosicated with a cancer a la Trebbeck, i could understand the depression. Keep your hope, trudescu and blip brandy will be in their small shoes.

I'm going to hold out hope that the courts will make a logical decision- if not, we no longer live in a democracy and emigration is way to go. I heard Texas is beautiful this time of year.
 
I really have no faith in a court in Canada not being fixed already.

But, if you want hope,,,this fancy letter told me all these rifles are no longer either registered or restricted,,,and now the court tells me they are not prohibited either.

Does that make them unregistered and non restricted in the eyes of the court?

It's such a great gun. My 6.5CM heavy-barreled model was shooting sub half-moa... For only like $2500ish. Hard to beat that value. And yes, I would buy one in a heartbeat, possibly 2. Somebody tag ArmsEast, I don't know how.

That'll be a fun one, because the registrar actually tried to prove that it wasn't their decision, but a direct consequence of the OIC in some case I can't remember. They said that to try and have the judge refuse a s.74 hearing, IIRC. But I'm not sure.

And that ruling has been appealed by the Attorney General because they think the Judge is wrong. Gotta love having to foot the bill for a legal battle that is trying to #### you.

It is the Attorney General that was arguing that I do believe, not the Registrar themselves.
 
Most likely there would be an immediate stay of any such decision pending an appeal by the feds. But if it did happen, we still have our registration certificates which would then be not "nullified" and, therefore, 100% valid. We could take them to the range same day.

Yes, some people have continued shooting their newly prohib guns but some of us have to keep our noses squeaky clean or face the prospect of our family having no money for food or shelter.

You guys rock! I see you still have the STAG section up on the website- ready for a quick however many sales possible in whatever window they may give us :D All we need is a few hours.
 
I imagine that assuming the stay occurs and pre may 1st normality returns that every single vender with items covered under the ban will look to sell it off as quickly as possible. As who knows what the future holds.

So a lot of good deals might appear.

Sadly any NRs sold under such a deal will dissapear.
