Just add the Pearce grip finger extensions to you're mag's and then you will have the best all round 10mm...:dancingbanana:

Here's a picture of mine as well. I also added an Aro-Tek extended slide release actually I have installed one on all of my Glocks.

Can you get a G29, long ported barrel? That might help. Cook, can you use the new slide release left handedly, with trigger finger?

My other choices for CCW are:

MILLENNIUM PT145 .45 ACP POLYMER PISTOL
Para Ord Carry 12

I couldnt get one her in Canada cause you won't sell it to me:( I did get one in Atlanta though and have it at my place in Ft. Lauderdale it's my new CCW gun in FLA so i won't be importing it to Canada....

but if you ever want to get rid of one of yours....or the mags:) let me know:puke:

Will do, I may know where you can get mags but they're not cheap (as you know):).

I just spent a few minutes looking for longer barrel listings on Barsto's, KKM's and Storm Lake's web sites and none of them listed a longer than stock length barrel.

With that said I have 2 4.25" barrels for my G29 and neither of these barrels were listed so the answer must be yes you can but you will have to give them a call and ask.

About the slide release...

I had to dig out the G29 and give it a try... :)

I have to change my grip by pushing/dropping the gun slightly forward or twisting the front of the gun slightly to the right but definately doable.

Looks really good but I bet it is a real b*tch to double tap with. ;)
12.5 gr of blue dot or 16.5 gr of 2400 1600 fps, u don't
need to double tap. u could'nt get that much powder
in your loads as i get an extra 1/8 "case capacity by loading long. i don't think the tupper ware would handle
that kind of pressure<VBG>:)

If you go back to my original comment in this thread on page 2 entry # 13 you'll see that I have an 18.5" barrel for my T/C Contender carbine...

In other words you are preaching to the choir because I have been there done that.

My fastest load of all time in the carbine was with 14grs IMR 800X and Nosler 135gr JHP's which gave me an average of 2075fps... :)

1400fps is the fastest that I have ever loaded 200gr XTP's but I stopped at 9.6grs IMR800X.

I have never loaded the 10mm round long though because I use all my loads in my different handguns as well.

Now I am going to have to make special 10mm long Contender loads...

My three choices, depending on purpose and use:

S&W 610 if you are a revolver fan...my choice if I was going to hunt or for IPSC revolver.

GLOCK 20 great all round gun and nice and light if we were able to carry in the bush, mine was very accurate and I wish I had never sold it.

Tanfaglio 10mm, similar to the CZ which fits my hand really well, all steel and stronger than the Glock.
Cheers

I bought mine locally from Reliable Guns in Tackle in Vancouver and they bought it from Questar.

I communicated with Mark @ Questar during the entire transaction though.

I got mine straight from Questar... it's my second Glock 29 (I bought one before then sold it right away, missed it so much that I got another one soon after). I think there'll be more G29 owners as it really is "the" Glock to own and people realize they can be had. However, they are rare for sure compared to most other models.

They are a cool gun, when they bark people come over to ask what the hell you're shooting... "10mm" is the reply followed by the head nod accompanied with "Ohhh."

;)

I have thought about this also...

I would just reload for it so ammo wouldn't be a problem but for the life of me I couldn't see the purpose other than to have the option of another cartridge.
