love the big aftermarket, you can cheaply make a bad ass rifle, even more bad ass.

I'd rather have functionally bad ass SKS as opposed to aesthetically bad ass SKS.
I guarantee! I can load the SKS with clips faster than any aftermarket duckbill mag.
1. So cheap you can have a pet project and not feel bad about it.
2 Super robust design. almost impossible to get it to stop shooting. Corrosive ammo will eventually make it shoot too much w/ 1 trigger pull!

4. every sks is different, the wood ranges from great to uber-###y-times.

6. reasonably accurate. With optics and a good mount a 12x12 plate is 100% dead at 200+ yards on every shot.
7. seriously cheap. I could stop drinking beer and buy two per month if i didnt love beer so much.
