What Is The Most You'll Spend On A Gun???

Probably high 4 figures without a bat of an eye. The problem is that all those $500-$1500 guns keep popping up! I suffer from Magpie Syndrom. If it's shiney, it ends up in my nest.

$871 but that's only because glocks are cheap right now. I break things too quickly to spend a whole lot on anything too nice. I already explained to my wife's stomach, that whenever they get something new, to enjoy it immediately and thoroughly, because if they're anything like me, it won't be nice for long.

Depends on what type of handgun. I'm guessing your are asking about NEW not used....

For a plastic striker fired I won't go higher than what another XD is worth.

For a metal non-1911, depends on the caliber but probably around $800.

For a revolver, depends on the caliber so probably around $700-800. S&W is nice and wheel guns are what they do best but ain't now way I'm payin' $900 for a .22!

For a 1911, I already know which one is next so up to $2100 (taxes-in) for the Stainless TRP.

I agree, it all depends on the available cash, how much you can hide from the wife and lust factor. So far I haven't gone over $1300, but at the moment I'm thinking about a HK Mk23 for $2300.

Depends on the utility. How much is in the safe that is unused, better to spend that amount on one gun that is used. I spend relatively a lot on a .22 rifle and .22 pistols, why, cause they are going to see far more use than my .30-06 rifle and any other pistol.

Money is not happiness, what you spend it on is.

Cheers

For my first .40 or .45, I'm really tempted to spend up to $4G on one of those beautiful German-made Sigs... As good a reason to save up as any.
