What is your favorite milsurp to take to the range?

The Sten is the only one that is fairly reasonable to find ammo for.

Second place in terms of volume shooting would be my laminate refurb 1952 Tula SKS. Again, don't laugh, I've placed in the top 3 in milsurp matches with it.

I know it's hard to believe but it was one of the bigger EOHC matches, there were around 30 shooters there.

My 1953 Tula SKS-45 laminated stock, primarely, because it is the only milsurp that I have left at this time in my life, and I can't be bothered reloading for any thing else, even if I had another oldie like a P 17 .30-06.


July 16th is marked on my calendar for the first summer EOHC shoot and I like the course that the guys have set up.
