What Shotgun did you shoot your FIRST bird with? and do you still have it?

First bird I shot was a mallard hen with a brand spankin new Baikal IJ-18 single shot 12ga. loaded with #4 Imperial high brass from Canadian Tire. It was an early Christmas gift from my parents when I was 15. That was over 30 years ago. I still have that gun and it's still in very good shape.
It hardly gets used anymore but it comes out to play every once in a while.H:S:

My first shotgun was a Winchester 370 in 410, that my father bought me for my 8th birthday. I shot crows and magpies with it until I was old enough to hunt, then shot ruffed grouse, sharptails, and a few ducks with it before moving up to a 12 gauge 870 that I received for Christmas at age 12. The 410 was sold long ago.

Magpie with a Ranger .410 using 2.5" Winchester Super-X No. 6

There is a photo of my Gido with that shotgun in one hand and a chicken-eating hawk in the other. The photo dates from the 30's. Shotgun is currently sitting in dad's cabinet and I may have to go whack some grouse with it this fall.

A CIL .410 that I got for Christmas when first able to hunt. I still have the piece, and will pass it along should my kids choose to hunt. Fingers are crossed on that one.

A pheasant with "my birthday present from dad" 16 gau GEHA - lets see that was 55 some years ago, I still have the gun. --- John303.

First bird was a black duck shot with a Browning A5mag. Still have the gun as it belongs to my Father.

I think of that day almost every time I shoot the gun. :)

A ruffed grouse with a Savage bolt action .410 that my gather gave me for my 15th christmas.
Still have it, will never sell or part with it by any means.
