What was your first pistol/revolver

first time i shot a hand gun i was using a commander size 1911 in .45 . and first ever hand gun i own is a SW 29. 44 mag baby !
 
First gun I ever shot was a S&W Model 10 with the 5" taper barrel. My friend's dad's service revolver.

Then years later I saw the same model on consignment at Lock, Stock, & Barrel in New Westminster. I didn't even have my PAL yet (had sent off the paperwork), but I bought it and they agreed to hold it for me until my licence came.

Still have it. Definately a never sell.
 
The first handgun I ever shot was a S&W 41 when I was 5 or 6.

The first revolver I shot was a Dan Wesson 15 when I was about 22.

The first handgun I bought was a Ruger Standard 22 at the same time I tried the Dan Wesson. I have owned three Ruger 22 semis (Standard, Mark II, Mark III) and have not kept any of them. I now shoot a Smith and Wesson 617 if the 22 bug bites me.

The first revolver I owned was a Smith and Wesson 28-2 Highway Patrolman about 2 1/2 years ago. I liked the style so much that when a 27-2 came available at a reasonable price I snapped it up.
 
Ruger .22 Standard semi. Serial no. is all 7's and 1's. Never sell this one. Have several Ruger .22 pistols now, including a 1 of 5000 Red Label stainless.
 
First pistol i bought was a very well used cz75 9mm.It was still a good shooter even though it looked crappy,and 15yrs later I just traded in my custom cz on my first STI.
 
Great Grand-Dads .41 Long Colt Revolver. Still have it and still shoot it. I cast my own bullets from three old LYman molds and make cases out of .38Spl brass. Inherited it when I was 16. RCMP officer nearly fell ff his chair when he was filling int the registration for. Age?....16. Officer shifts his position on his chair and keeps typing.

Incidently I brought the gun to Division HQ in Edmonton in a brown paper bag as suggested to me by an Officer on duty when I made the telephone call.

Things have changed since 1961.

First one I ever fired was the Inglis Hi-Power (back when I was in the Forces).

The first one I ever BOUGHT was the Ruger SR9 9mm with the updated trigger. Second pistol was the Browning Buckmark Camper .22LR.
 
First owned a Ruger 44mag 10.5 inch Super Blackhawk for metallic shiloutte. Been fighting the flinch since I bought it in 1986. The pistol I shoot the best (and will NEVER sell) is a SW 686 I bought here on CGN. (thanks again to Jimmy!)
