What weapon have you been successful with

I'll just list big game since I've used about everything imaginable on smaller critters
Recurve- bear
Compound- mule deer (lots)
50 cal muzzleloader - mule deer, moose, antelope
30-30 lever - bear
308 - whitetail , Mule deer, antelope, elk, moose,
7mm rm- moose
30-06 whitetail
I'm sure I'm forgetting something.
.308 does my majority of killing when I have a tag that Needs filling

I had a couple kids working for me and briefly living with us that I learned later had heard a rumor that I was an American former-CIA operator. I don't know where it came from and didn't foster that idea but it was out there. Anyway, a mouse ran across the counter and since I had a pencil in hand I whacked it on the head for an instant kill. Their jaws dropped to the floor which I found hilarious.
So, pencil.

Every firearm I own has been used on gophers...mostly to justify the purchase to my wife.

...otherwise, he used "weapon" for specific items like slingshots and bows. ...and to leave it open for other items people have used. Relax people.

My fav "weapon" for gophers is my truck tires a few hours after a leaky grain truck drove by.

It amounts to the mind of the.user. That other thread, where a man was not guilty of rape because he did.not have a guilty mind. Believed he was allowed to rape. In the twisted mind of our leftards politicians, guns only purpose is to kill.

They can put any twisted logic and nomenclature they chose in useless laws. I have never picked up a .....firearm.....with a I'll intent against any person. So I will stick to a classic/dictionary definition of weapon, while using firearms for collecting, target and shooting sports, and hunting.

After all just because Anti's believe AR15 means assault rifle ...15 shots per trigger pull doesn't mean it's correct.

Always reached for the same two when going hunting:
Norinco HP9 12ga. This was my meat-getter for years, but I traded up to a 20ga that needs its first kill.
.300WM. Though I just got into a 6.5x55 that might replace it.

Got some grouse with a .22 as well.

Oh, the firearm vs weapon debate...

It would serve some folks well to consider the etymology of he word “Firearms”... Particularly the “Arms” part... they’re not talking about your your left or right...

And as a quick aside, I note a few folks listed “blowguns”... Keep in mind that such nefarious weapons are prohibited it Canada. Along with other weapons of mass destruction like brass knuckles and ninja stars. Maybe they were used stateside.

12 Gauge using slugs, birdshot and buckshot (Mossberg, Winchester, Baikal, Stevens, Norinco)

.243 (Remington)

The list of calibers/weapons that I took out hunting and haven't shot anything with is far longer...
