What would you pay for legal full cap AR15 magazines?

The RCMP and "powers that be" can't just make up new laws on mag capacity on a whim. The government makes those laws and I really don't see them bothering with it.

ya but could a Judeg not just rule in a court case that the way he reads said law the mag MUST be used ONLY in rifle X and NOT IN any semiauto

its a risk it may work out for us but you may cost us mags over 5 rnds

if you were able to get 30 rnds legal mags I can be sure the libs when they get in again WILL ban them in a second OIC stroke of a pen it they are ALL gone

but hey thier gonna do in all the semis and the pistols too

But at least two cases in the past year have proven the exact opposite of the statement. It does not matter what you use the mag in, it matters what it was designed and built for. At least that's what I keep reading into it.

Any way, I've decided I'm going to build a handfull of the old style, straight 20 round mags. Mainly, the striaght design will be easier to manufacture. Then we go from there.

Even an activist judge has to rule according to the laws of this coutnry. No matter how hard the RCMP wants to keep 30 rd mags out of the hands of law-abidding citizens, (barring some clarity amendments to the firearms act) they're doomed to lose eventually.

For a 30 rounder I think 50-75 bucks (depending on the quality and finnish) would be a reasonable price.
I'll buy at least two from you.

You have to promise not to paint it brown or pink or another goofy or ######y colour:D
And not to write "Made in Saskachewan" on it either:p

But don't let this idea rusting on the shelf like other things you said you would build;)

I'd even pay a premium for a legal 10 round AR mag. These 5 round mags are so ------------ frustrating! Sorry about wandering off topic!

Sure, buy at least two, like you wouldn't have enough of them.
Other people can't buy mags for the pump action rifle because you bought the whole production.
Maybe you should leave some for other guys who would like to have some.
:D

Armedsask,

So what road are you gonna take? Build a mag that won't fit in an AR magwell with out modification of the magwell or stamp the mag for use in a specific pump rifle?

Come on, you know that I NEED them:)

"the whole production" is a slight exageration... I bought some, but not enough:redface: I have needs, man...

The later, mags built for a pump rifle. And no, not the 7615. One off of my on design.

No idea on a time frame, don't hold your breath.

its not usefull to do your own gun.

Like it was explained wolverine did not get the ok on its 7615 mag because they where manifactured whit AR15 mag dies.
so you need new dies created for the 7615.

make the mag only whit custom parts (no ar15 baseplate, no springs, no tools made for the AR, etc)the mag can be 100% the same as an AR one.

i was quoted 250k in the us for a set of dies custom made that where the same as the ones used by big mag makers but i am shure it can be done on the cheap.

FORGET THE GUN IT HAS NO IMPACT

Except that it does. The RCMP have already stated that the 7615 is marketed as using AR15 mags with an AR15 magwell. As such, they ruled any mag for the 7615 would be an AR15 mag.
