What's the most useless caliber

.17hmr
.32 special is a waste of time too...just buy a 30-30.
I have something against the .204 ruger aswell...not sure why though.

I actually use 1" and bigger quite frequenty in my line of work.

I use wrenches as large as baseball bats on a fairly regular basis at work (small ones too).
1" is a very uncommon size to need. There are very few things that take a 1". I do believe the plastic nut on your toilet tank is 1" though. Usually end up using an adjustable for that .

Ok back to useless calibers.

I think that in keeping with the greening of our society, we should ban any 30 cal that uses more powder than a 308. Allow the 223 and 22 LR, maybe the 45-70. 12 gauge is too big, too much powder. Nothing bigger than 28 gauge. Black powder banned altogether. All lead projectiles banned. All corrosive primers banned. :nest:

Liberal, Green or NDP?

Liberal, Green or NDP?

Green Liberal Dipper. I have an Elisabeth May blow up doll, a Jack Lenin poster on my wall and a Count (without the "o") Iggy bobble-head on my dash. I only drink milk from smiling cows, and the only bread I eat is made from hand-ground, organically grown vintage wheat fertilized with composted hoot-owl dung.

That is a blasphemous statement !!
Just for that you should be banned !! :D

17's in general, just to light, targets at distance you can barely make outthe holes in targets, lol

I disagree the 17 HMR to 17 Rem are an awesome 200 yard gopher round and the 17 Rem will easily do coyotes to 250 yards...

I like this caliber so much that I just bought a 17 Rem barrel for my T/C Contender carbines plan on using it almost exclusively for bobcat hunting.

and who shoots paper other than to sight it in...

Simple math.....Stick to the most available and or NATO calibre's.

5.56X45, 7.62X39, 7.62X51, 9X19 parabellum, .45 ACP, 50 BMG, 12 Gauge.

No one can deny the .22

It's also a very effective calibre and probably the least expensive ammo to buy.....

Without a doubt the .25 ACP, there's a reason nobody chambers for it: it's the most useless cartridge ever devised, you'd be better served with a .22 LR.
I can't for the life of me figure out why they prohibited it, you'd think they would have made it mandatory instead.

Bond's initial Beretta was in .25 ACP: heresy ! :D

That ;) , and the fact that in the earlier semi-automatic handguns :yingyang: , the .25 ACP fed more reliably than the .22 rimfire (sorta like how the .32 ACP was the de facto choice for semi-automatic pistols instead of a .32 rimfire).....
