What's the most useless caliber

i agree the most useless is the 243!
45/70 is right up there also.
i think i stirred the pot enough so i gunna shaddup now.lmao

Things must be pretty slow out there. I think that the natural process should eliminate the useless ones. And on second this has not worked with humans.
The .375would mean anything in that caliber. As far as the .375 H&H , IT HAS OUTLIVED MANY CAMPFIRE GASBAGS.

.243 seems to be taking a beating! I am not a big fan of the cartridge myself. It is a good round within it's limits but I have seen a few guys get cocky with this round and make several hundred yard shots with 80-100gr's on big Whitetail deer. Also at close ranges it is way to much power for varmits. Unless you do not mind them being in 3 pieces. I'm still sticking with my 700 nitro being overkill. Even for you T-Rex hunters out there.

I sent bad do=do's your way man.:p
Ever hear of reloading...........
DrAche, you just pooped on the Elite.
Shame on you.
Hay, wanna go fish'in.........:runaway:

I'll reload when I can move out of this apartment and have the room to reload :D

I also need to get Grandpa's .308NM stripped, cleaned, and reblued. :(

As for fishing, I actually might be down that way this summer. I'll let you know if I do

.17 ,,,,, Well I half agree with that :jerkit:

The .17 HMR is not worth the powder to fire it off :nest:
Like what the he11 is wrong with the .22 mag

As far as the .17 rem and the Fire ball we use both of them here to hunt fox with ,,,,, ya I know .223 etc works just as well but here on good old PEI they are trying hard to take all that away from us and only let us use .17 center fire and smaller on the foxes... So with that being said the .17 Fire Ball is worth it weight in a season of RED FUR :dancingbanana:

hands down

9mm para too small to kill with weight too slow to kill with velocity. last i heard the .303 british had killed more canadian moose than all other cartridges COMBINED.

I don't have much interest in most Weatherbys or RUM cartridges, WSSM's looked like an interesting idea, but why really bother?

The .375 H&H is now obsolete, but lots of guys use lots of obsolete cartridges and seem quite pleased with themselves for doing so.

The 375 H&H is timeless and will always be number one:p

I am one of those guys using obsolete cartridges....the 7X57. Another timeless number one.

I like the .257 Wby but the rest I don't really see much use. However, even so Weatherby was a genius and his calibers will stand the test of time.
