What's the most useless caliber

i couldnt be F*cked reading 14 pages about calibers that noone actually uses..

7.62x39mm Soviet .. what a total piece of sh*t

even handloaded it barely measures on the accuracy scale.. i can pretty much piss in a flatter trajectory .. and its out performed by the whiney little poodle tickling .223

OK, I retract my previous statements about the Vancouver Canucks..........damn, wrong thread again.

My comments about the 25/06 were meant tongue in cheek ;). It sure is easy to bait some people here :p.

I have never owned a rifle in 25/06 and likely never will. The 25/06 is a fine cartridge with a small but loyal following . I just feel the 25/06 is stuck between the .257 Roberts (P+) and the .270 Win.

The most useless cartridge to me is one that I would never own because of redundancy.

If you include wildcats - I'd say any of the .14 calibre jobs, especially the rimfire.

If you include currently obsolete cases - the .228 cal .22 Savage Hi-Power. While I love shooting the cartridge - a .228 bullet has nothing over a .224 bullet.

I've been shooting my .17HMR for a year now and that little round is a lot of fun. Great for picking off small varmints at 100 yard+ distances.

My 204 ruger is also a ton of fun!

Its hard to call any caliber useless. They were all made to fit some ones personal need. Even if that need was just to get away from the wife!:D

With accuracy like this, my .17 Rem is a keeper :)
