Where does this leave us?

Apparently as of 5 minutes ago, the MH MV and MS all still showed as NR in the FRT? Don't get me wrong, im not delusional. Just interested to understand how ATRS has one info but someone else who looks em up has a different info when accessing the FRT.

not all versions of the FRT are updated live in real time.
 
How exactly is anyone supposed to know if their firearm is good to go? People are out there hunting bears and turkeys with any number of these and what if they are stopped and questioned? What a sh1t show

This is the interesting part.

- FRT is not an official publication available to all, so unlike laws owners cannot know whats in the FRT
- How would it work from a crown prosecution standpoint? Some firearms are now prohib, but not by name, they aren't variants of prohib or restricted firearms, and their mechanism and configurations are legal as per the FA...

I would hope everyone who bought a NR took the time to print a dated FRT around the time he bought it. The more evidence we have that these were NR on April 30, the better (if the allegations are true that the powers that be are trying to rewrite FRT history).
 
I don't doubt that these gun grabbers and Trudope want to ban everything, I just don't see the evidence.

Think for a second, that someone on reddit made a photoshopped image of Modern Sporter as PROHIB .... Take that in...
If this is true, its despicable, if its not true, these people are trying their best to stir the pot........

I think I said this earlier, but if my cobwebbed brain remembers anything from Grade 13 law class its that something needs to be published in the Gazette in order to be enforceable. That's pretty much what the Gazette is for - to make public any changes to laws.

I'm sure there are lawyers reading these threads. Any truth to my crazy statement?

Another "rumor" but this one with enough meat and bones that I'll put this warning out there: there are multiple 'stings' taking place regarding checking PAL's on purchases from individual to individual, and one screen shot of a police officer attempting to sell a prohibited firearm to a normally legal law abiding buyer.

USE caution if you are buying ANYTHING right now people. Looks like the RCMP and Toronto Police Service took summer school lessons down south with the B.A.T.F.E. on sleazy tactics.

Theres a misconception. The business FRT is updated weekly, so a lot of people are calling this BS and fake news since the FRT still shows them as Non-Restricted.
However, there is also a portal for verifiers, and only a select few retailers have access to this portal (including Wolverine) because these retailers regularly process unpapered prohibited firearms since they also work with gun museums.
As a result, they have access to a live portal that shows real-time updates, and Wolverine has confirmed that these rifles have been prohibited. This is not fake news, this is really happening.

Long guns in May. Pistols in June. Then so he doesn't have to amswere to anything close parliament for the summer and so gunnies cool off, media wants nothing to do with it. Call an election. Because we can't get our shiv together and work with each other, show of solidarity. Remeber we DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT TO FIREARMS. It is a privelage. You will have the privelage of owning a deactivated paper weight. I am not a good organiser. But i will follow if we can do peaceful protest like the natives did. Block everything. No firearms though.
