Custom 260 Rem target rifle built around a Rem 700 action

And I hope to eventually have a non-refurb 1936 dated K98k Mauser Oberndorf 1st year of whermacht issue mauser in nice condition - one can always dream.

Well, seems no matter what I get or already have I still seem to want more...
pistols, well currenty have a 9x19, .45ACP, and a 10mm.
wouldn't mind having a large cal revolver even though I'm not a big fan of revolvers. I would love to have an old Colt single action army though. Kinda got a hankering for a Norinco .45 to mess with and slightly modify. Keep it generally mil spec with a few user friendly mods and some of Gunnar's 45-08 brass to go with
Shotguns... not a big shotgun fan either. I have a few nice 20's a 28 and a 12. Got shotguns covered, except for a nice 870 special field someday mabye.
Rifles... Military style, got the typical AR15 with numerous uppers of varying barrel lengths, the Norinco M14, venerable Lee Enfield etc. Lots more on my want list including one of those cute little VZ58's. But since I'm waiting for the 700P I just bought to arrive in the mail, that'll be it for a while.
Hunting rifles. Well again I have 22's, 22 magnums, a Remington 760 in .308
I still want a big bore of some sort down the road. Mabye a 338 or 35 cal of some sort. And I've got a hankering for a Remington model 7 in 260 remington for scouting the whitetail country.

A darling factory D/T Savage late model EG 250-3000, premil of course and a 250 Savage bolt action in a Rem Classic or a Ruger compact.
A pre-64 Winnie model 70 is just too much to hold out for though I'm told one sold here in the last year at a reasonable price.

I would like a new S&W 500 and a 50 caliber for squirrelly huntin'

Two Husqvarnas (my fav) 06 and 270 wby.
Several .22s including a beauty brno I just bought. Also a nice old Winnie 22 hornet too.
Ruger bolt in 308, FR8 Spanish mauser, jungle carbine, 7.5 swiss, couple single shot guns .22 pistol and revolver and a 44 mag super blackhawk and a few other odds and ends.
Next, I'll be looking for some single shot rifles, Ruger or Browning. I'll continue looking for Husqvarna or similar rifles in mid and bigger bore. And I'll do a bolt custom or two along the same lines. Actually the spanish mauser might just get wacked here pretty quick as its to bubba'd to restore as a military piece Also interested in a double action revolver in 44 mag, and another single action revolver in some stupidly huge calibre

Thanks for the invite to shoot the boomer again Johnn, tuned up my 7x57, 338, 8x57, and of course the 45-70 and now I"m waiting for the Harris Bi-Pod to show up so I can put it on the bunny gun(22-250) .
