Whitetail deer dummied by .416 Rigby

I always enjoy wit and repartee that includes insults, ageism, assumptions and generalizations, absurd opinion, and irrelevant analogies. It's hard to get them all into such a short post. Good for you!

You're right and all that while his mom was calling him for bed time. It truly was well done.

what's your point? Do you go around all day trying to think of the most mundane ways of doing things? You literally are using the most disgustingly boring rifle ever invented as a benchmark. I suppose you take two "Dare - Lemon" cookies with your afternoon tea because the chips ahoy are too sweet.

You old folks are too much.

LOL ........ Your hormones are acting up again. :)

"Wheeeeeeaton!!!"

Yeah, no kidding .
Reading the pages of this thread was like reading about bad car accident where some prospect gansta was bragging about it .
I used to tell people that a badly placed shot with a 375H&H will equal the same result as a bad shot with a 243.
Deer died but I would question my use of that rifle and my shooting abilities if I made that lousy a shot from a blind at that dustance - hardly something to be proud of ....

Maybe he doesn’t like back straps and prefer ribs and that explained the shot placement.......

Shot actually hit about mid height. I'm just letting the old fellers hate. It's comical how upset they can make each other over something so small.

You’re not a hunter , you’re just a f**kwit that killed an animal.
Crap shot placement , destroying the best part of the animal , just to prove to your friends that your big rifle can keeel ... I suspect “little #### syndrome” is quite common amongst you and your friends huh ??

I'm not upset at all .
It does show however just how much respect you do not have your quarry by bragging about a lousy shot .
I've killed deer with a 375 a lot further than you are bragging about but hit them properly and the damage was not nearly so severe .
But it's your thread so you go , Girl

My shot. Recorded by one of my hunting buddies. They just had to see it. Full house load using a 400 grain swift A-frame. Range is around 65 feet. I hit the deer in the ribs and the bullet went straight through. Unfortunately the backstraps were a write off. On the positive side that was the only meat damage.

Edit: The shot took so long because I was waiting for the two of them to line up. Then took the smaller one when they weren't going to.

I've been watching this thread...... Little jerks like you make hunting look bad. Little jerks like you have been ruing this site as well. I wish the Moderators could ban some of you.

Hunters coming down on their own again , just like the typical CGN mentality towards all gun owners.

Use common sense when “bragging” about exploits, or discretion when posting.

Where are the guys that say dead is dead ?

That’s all that is going on here.

OP , quit responding.

He ain’t a hunter thats “one of our own” as far as I’m concerned. He’s just another dip#### with a gun and a deer blind. Killing things to prove to his buddies how good his “big gun” is. In the process he wasted a bunch of meat due to a crap shot with probably the most over-kill calibre he could have used. Go shoot a pork roast if ya wanna #### measure about how big your gun is.
People like this are exactly what makes hunting look bad to the general public. No different to the cockbag that filmed himself killing a bear with a spear and got that type of hunting banned here in Alberta.

I sure wish all the stuff I shot at dropped like that.

Yeah and wasted most of the best meat in the process. This dip#### plain and simply killed an animal to prove to his buddies how cool his big gun was. Zero Hunting ethics at all with no concern shown at all for the wasted meat. That’s not a hunter , that’s just another dip#### with a gun.

So oust him or maybe talk to him on the side in an educational and informative manner?

But the infighting is a good thing, shows solidarity , a unified front of firearms owners.

We and I said WE are the most divisive group of misfits going.

As soon as someone does something that goes against their own person opinion or practiced methods then they are a "dip####" or whatever name you'd like to call them.

I also have to say that the moderators could of stepped in here and done some damage control or gave some guidance, as well as other members.

Did he kill a deer? yes

Did he actually break any laws? No

Were his methods questionable? That's between him and his conscious.

Should people stop making videos of everything they do? Maybe.

Should the CGN community be less confrontational, absolutely.

The OP wanted attention, and he got it and didn't heed my advice and let it go yet kept responding.

One big mess of a stir fry with sour meat is what this has turned into.

Again, discretion and judgement go a long way.

We all better remember this thread next time a shot goes sideways.I fear how many here would treat a new hunter if something went wrong with their shot while mentoring them.I slap to the head? Take the bolt out of their gun? Put their face on CGN with the name "Dip S hit" saying how they shouldn't be hunting?

Fail on top of fail here from every direction.

My first or second deer was a spine shot , it wasn't dead when I got to it , so had to finish it.Well , let me have it boys all you holier than thou hunters! ;)

I've spined deer before as well, but I certainly did not go on the internet bragging about it like the OP did and certainly have NEVER tried to line up two at once.
I go out of my way to kill them as cleanly and quickly as possible, and even then I do not brag about it.
