Do you still shoot her? & did you protect the steel with anything?

i usually shoot my Chinese more then this one, but it has been out in the snow a few times since did the work on it. Haven't had any rust / dulling issues at all. I think as long as it gets a regular cleaning / wipe down after use it should be fine (and maybe a quick polish once a year..)

It's a numbers matching '52 Tula... except for the poorly fitting stock it came with. I just finished fitting the timbersmith stock. Fits nice and tight, no play like the original. Getting the original wood hand guard out without damaging it was nerve racking. I ended up drilling the pin holding it in place, only 3 or 4 mm deep, it punched out easily after that.

I've been scouring the internet looking for a distributor who will ship a molot side rail to Canada (or has them inside Canada), if anyone knows where I might find one drop me a pm.

Failing the molot side rail I'll probably end up running a red dot with BC Tactical's scout mount.

Is the screw on muzzle brake effective? Can you notice a difference in recoil with it on? I want one....I did have a pin on muzzle brake (with slash cuts on the top) that did little or nothing.

Have the same stock on my bush beater. Plain and simple, I prefer it as a folder to the ones with the adjustable butt. It's not all covered in rails and stuff either. Too bad they don't seem to be around anymore....makes the rifle perfect to sling under an arm and slip through the dense stuff.
