This is the EXACT same thing that happened with their Famae 540/542 pre-order...hell they even claimed they had "exclusive distributor" rights so nobody else could possibly bring these in...panic tactics.
And what happened? Their order was too small for anyone​ to give a #### so it got bumped, and bumped, and they gave you a sling and mag, and it got bumped some more, for like 2 years.
Then someone else put in a bigger order and had the rifles in Canada for sale months before TI got theirs, and they were cheaper then TI's pre-order price on top of that. Talk about ####ting the bed...
Same thing going on here. Chinese won't fill their order because it's too small, that's why it keeps getting bumped. They are too small of a shop to be taken seriously, hell they don't even tell TI what's going on that's how little they give a ####.
Wonder what the excuse is going to be in July now when they get bumped again...
And no, they will not sell 3000 rifles in 1 day, unless it's to dealer's to put on shelves.

Probably the same thing will happen again if the demand for the firearm is there. It must be difficult for a smallish company getting a factory run done that would make a manufacturer take notice. 500 or 1000 units might not be worth it for them. It also would be tough for a smallish company to pony up the cash for it.
 
How hard would it be to make this in Canada or the US? I mean the receiver is stamped, not machined. Might be worth a company's time. Yes, they'd need a new FRT since it's a new factory, but the headway has been made with the t81 being approved. It's basically an improved AK. What's not to like.

Actually it is is its own firearm. It's an improved type 63. Which itself was a marriage of a few different guns.

Well the first 2 were delivery dates no? And now July is a production date? I recall a couple other production dates being thrown in there I guess.
So with July production will it be Q3 2017 delivery again?

ETA's I believe, "E" being "estimated"so no hard delivery date was ever given. Crap happens and when you buy a rifle that's not even manufactured yet so ALWAYS, ALWAYS expect delays. Buy in and take a gamble or wait to buy secondhand or pass alltogether, everyone has a choice. Fully paid preorders is not the way I like to do it nor would I run my business that way but people can make their choice, I made mine.
