I do belive if canada ammo gets these first the price will be substantially lower than TI......someone please get these rifles soon and we can put this to rest.......if these get held over again I'm getting my money back this $hit has gone on too long

I've been talking the odd bit with TI sales reps, throughout the process they seem pretty confident this thing will all work out...My money is gone as far as I'm concerned, I don't need it for anything else, the only hole in my life is the rifle itself, so even if I get the money back, the hole will still be there...it's sad...but there's always other holes to fill :) can am's m10x is next in line on the must have list...

I've been considering pre ordering one, but I don't know if I want to commit 1k to a rifle that isn't in Canada Yet, TI said they are 100% coming and they look pretty neat... cheaper than a VZ/CZ right now but still..
Not 100% sold on it yet..

I pretty much agree 100% with you.
I love my Norc M305 (took much tweaking, filing and work to make it what it is now) and my Norc 1911A1 is flawless.
But I drank the coolaid on the T97 and was never more disappointed with a firearm before or since. At the price they were going for it was beyond the "acceptable flaws" spectrum of Norc firearms. Just junk. Sold it very quickly.
Also learned the hard way to avoid sinking any money into a firearm that has zero parts availability. Turns a pricey toy into a paperweight really fast.
I have no intentions at all of buying the T81. Once bitten twice shy and all....

It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When

"you pay too much, you lose a little money - that's all. When you pay

too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you

bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The

common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a

lot - it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well

to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will

have enough to pay for something better.”

People draw alot of comparisons to the Type 97 and its spotty QC. Remember though, that the type 97 was hacked and slashed to accept 5.56 and STANAG mags, different from its originally designed 5.8mm and AK inspired magazines. That inherently brings problems without proper testing/trial and error.

I think with the type 81 it will be better. Just a semi auto action to a tried and true design.

Just my $0.02

Drink the Koolaid, these will be awesome.

I didnt know getting one of these was possible. Then i read the whole thread and realized that its not. So to answer the thread title, No one.

O come on, like what was just said "drink the Kool-aid"
Just because there was never a domestic build date,
does not mean you can't loan someone your money for a warm feeling of hope.:)
