Who is buying a Type81?

They credited my CC, What policy are you referring to ? I dont see anything of the sort on the Type 81 page .

Well lots of us got our money back, I guess asking politely worked :)

I am on the fence. I don't want to penalize TI for trying to bring a new firearm to Canada and being shafted by demand from military contracts from ME.

that being said. The more comfortable Lil'Potato gets in PM chair the slimmer are the chances of this delivery ever happening. So time is of the essence.

So are they issuing refunds or not? Who got a refund? And how recent was it? After the last announcement today stating winter delivery? Did u get a refund?

Takes what, 3 days for visa to show a credit online ? Ill know by either tommorow or wednesday

My refund was processed Sunday before the announcement, My spider sense were tingling...lol...

I'll buy one eventually if they turn out to be good rifles. I've just seen too many #### ups with pre-orders, and new to market Chinese export rifles tend to be a bit buggy.and have QC issues.
Also the price will drop on these once the initial novelty wears off and dealers can't move them.
T97's were $1050 initially, and then some fear mongering about future shipments, dollar dropping etc raised them to $1150.
Today you see them for $800 regularly and nobody is buying them.
I think the initial batch of the T81's will have QC issues that will get sorted out in future shipments, and probably see a price drop to $750-$800 in 6-9 months.

Sounds like a plan.

This seems oddly similar to the Famae pre-order that went south for TI.....Bumped back for "other bigger orders" which turned out to be another Canadian dealer who placed a substantially bigger order and had the rifles here a year before TI got theirs in, and were cheaper then the TI pre-order lol.
