I see both sides and I respect the folks that understand full well what they were signing up for with a pre-order but I don't need a gun so bad that I will give someone $1000 and then wait indefinitely while hoping to maybe get something from it one day. Money to burn eh....
WOW! Haven't read all the way back yet to see what happened with the new update! How did they update people with the other thread locked now?
Ok, just found the update on their forum. Funny I never received an email. I was one of the first to pony up my money!![]()

They locked the thread and updated people via email and a sticky in their forum. It has been copied into this thread.
I was wondering why they don't anti up the cash to get this on the assembly line and then sell them when they arrive like most other sponsors? With all the obvious interest in these rifles, I am sure they would sell out in a week! They should just do it!
They used several tactics to keep my order in. First being the incentives of a free magazine and a sling. Second being a $50 gift card which in my case will go towards two more magazines. Third was a scare tactic, notice at the bottom of their update they made a point of saying existing orders have the price locked in. To me that suggests they may plan on raising the price "come June" if this does truly end up being the only production for the foreseeable future. Anyways until a better option comes along it's the best shot I got at getting my hands on the gun I want, so I'll continue to play the waiting game.![]()
Understood, so if people are asked to post the full amount or even half, then this small company basically has no money in the game, just using the customers money, a tually if they take full payment then they already have their profits, not much incentive to try hard to rush things along! I can see 50%, at least they will need to deliver to get their cut!$1000 per rifle. 1000 rifles. That's a million in inventory. Even if the rifles cost 500 per unit, that's half a million out of pocket.
Not every company can swing that.
