Who is buying a Type81?

So production starts (maybe) in June now.... Delivery next fall? I call bull#### again. From day 1 I said this is the same fiasco as the Famae they pre-ordered, they do not have enough units on order for anyone to give a #### about. Someone serious with some actual purchasing power and relationship with Poly/Norc/EMEI like North Sylva needs to step up and bring these in.
What a #### show this has turned out to be. TI literally has no ####ing idea what's going on with their order, yet make sure to tell you how lucky you are to be in on the pre-order because this is "the only chance for probably the next 3 years that China will be producing these". More bull####, China will make whatever you want if you HAVE THE MONEY and order enough of the product. TI has neither.
Good luck, get refunded, this is how small shops go tits up.

And they are carrying on the tradition with the ung-12 bullpub by taking preorders on a unit with no frt no sample at the lab and apparently some serious reliability issues!!!! Not the best business practice but they still get people throwing money at them so I'm sure they will carry on!

I ordered mine shortly after the announcement purely out of curiosity. It's been so long that I barely remember paying out the cash and hence don't really miss the money. Judging from the content and length of this thread here, if and when it comes in and I don't like it I'm sure I'll be able to unload it quickly at a small loss (gain?).

Can am had their t97 and t81 tested to CA by the lab rats. Last time nothsylva scooped in and broght the t97 pos to Canada. What a disaster that was. Now on t81. I sense someone else may get it in first.

On a side note. Can anyone look up FTR and its description for t81?

What exactly are you looking for out of the frt info? What do you mean by description?

In TI's last closed thread they mentioned that they received the 5/30 magazines and wood stock set finished as per production specs. has anyone seen any pictures or video?

The chipped wood and cheese grater rail are awesome... lol..

They claim it's not a "chip" but made that way?
Sure looks chipped to me.

I think I'll give it a few months of other people guinea piggin these before I can objectively consider buying one. I almost jumped on the T97 (initial price $1150 CAD, today's price $750CAD AND our dollar dropped 30 cents between those so huge rip there BTW) but it turned out to be a bag of #### so I took a pass.
And that rail is garbage... Can't get the guns made but got mags, wood, and rails ready to go!

Missing finish on the cut?

That stock has gotta be upside down or my dim sum is much dim.

It does appear to be designed that way as they claim. Also they said it was finished the same as the rest of the stock but the way the light was hitting it made it appear so. Hard to say without hands on. Here's a blown up view showing the other side of the stock. I pre-ordered the folder so it doesn't matter much to me, only thing I'm worried about is the plastic insert on the folder matching this lighter finish.
