I’m hunting with a classic this season... if 101 years old can be considered classic... goes by the name of Wilf, but I call him grand pappy... ;-P
So blessed to be able to share such a long standing family tradition with him
As for firearms, a 1955 Winchester 88 is about as classic as I can get.
I will miss hunting with my 99 year old father in law this year, his name was Clifford. He passed last year and hunting will not be the same without him. Good hunting to you and Grandpappy this year.
Doesn't get more classic for me than a sporter no4 Longbranch, Canadiana that continues to put meat in the freezer.

How do you like that Adley mount? I was looking at one for my PH #1 sporter.
Last month was the first time I took the 1885 out hunting in a few years as my new "favorite" rifle is my little Ruger RSI chambered in the classic 250-3000

They are mountain rifles... "LaCloche Mountains"... any more than 100 feet of elevation and you might want to carry something else... 20 feet up to the tree stand and I am done.
