Who wants a 44 spl revolver?

trim your 44mag brass, all modern 44 special brass is identical to 44 mag, except shorter. Starline also makes it, Mystic Precision could very likely get you some.

Loaded ammo, I have no idea, check your local gun stores.

Trim .125 inch via what method?

Thanks

Don't buy many reading magazines, do you? They have ads all over the place in the US magazines. Of course, there they tend to be in the $3-400 price range. Largely meant for the concealed carry crowd, who largely aren't going to actually shoot them a whole lot. As Dan Belisle stated, they are meant to be carried a lot, and shot a little. The companies main goal, seems to be providing the budget minded person with a reliable firearm, mainly intented for personal defense, be it for carry or home defense. They do have a fairly decent reputation, within that realm. Someone looking for a gun to run over 2000 rounds per year, might be disappointed with the firearm, it's really not inteded for competetion or heavy use.

Much like Kahr, everything they make is prohib here, so this special run is a nice treat, and we should thank Kodiak for his continued dedication in bringing in special runs of unique guns into this country :)

If I but a magazine, it's generally rifle, or rifle shooter...........not too many revolvers advertized there. If I bought one in 22lr, I'd shoot the heck out of it, but that probably wouldn't matter too much in 22lr. My "big" gun is a model 19 (it's at S&W Canada getting bobbed to 4.25 inches at this time), and an inexpensive 22lr, that's single and double action would compliment it nicely..........not that I can afford it at this time, but oh well.

"...that Charter Arms still existed..." New owners.
"...get .44 Spl ammo and brass..." Pricey stuff. Usually a bit more expensive than .44 Mag ammo. It's usually in the assorted manufacturer's 'Cowboy load' lines. Epp's lists both, but no prices on their site.
Le Barons lists Winchester Super X .44 Special(246 gr. Lead RN) at $42.27 per 50. $20.94 per 50 for the Mag(240 gr. Hollow SP). Whether they actually have either is another thing.
.44 Mag brass can be loaded to .44 Special velocities for use in a Mag revolver, with no fuss.

...if you wanted to sell one of the most unique firearms in existance, from Charter Arms, for the Sinister folk who walk among us. Depending on what their minimum custom order is, I'd bet you could easily sell a couple hundred of their lefty revolvers...I know a lot of wrong handed folk who'd love just such a thing.
What about getting a lefty revolver in from charter arms? I would buy it in whatever caliber.

A Southpaw would attract a large market...a large and ignored market.

The method of patience, lots of patience. Pick a night when you really don't have anything better to do. If you have an electric or drill mounted trimmer all the better.

Ok, thanks for the info guys. Guess we better get back on topic.

Sorry Kodiak, didn't mean to hi-jack.

A Charter Arms Bulldog 22LR would certainly twig my interest.
