Don't buy many reading magazines, do you? They have ads all over the place in the US magazines. Of course, there they tend to be in the $3-400 price range. Largely meant for the concealed carry crowd, who largely aren't going to actually shoot them a whole lot. As Dan Belisle stated, they are meant to be carried a lot, and shot a little. The companies main goal, seems to be providing the budget minded person with a reliable firearm, mainly intented for personal defense, be it for carry or home defense. They do have a fairly decent reputation, within that realm. Someone looking for a gun to run over 2000 rounds per year, might be disappointed with the firearm, it's really not inteded for competetion or heavy use.
Much like Kahr, everything they make is prohib here, so this special run is a nice treat, and we should thank Kodiak for his continued dedication in bringing in special runs of unique guns into this country
