When I'm shooting my CZ from the bench the 5/30 mg rests on the table at the perfect height . I also like it because it reminds me of a retarded law that must be changed .

If I had a rifle that could legally shoot with a 30 rnd. mag then that would be great. But the law states that you can only have 5 rnds. in the mag, so why have a great big mag sticking out of your gun just getting in the way. I can understand having one for the ease of changing it out. I think most people have them because they think it looks bad ass. To me it looks kind of stupid considering what the laws state. But each to his own. For those that believe that one day they will change the gun laws in our favor. I think you are dreaming.

I saw the same thing over and over again about the Long Gun Registry. It happened. Dreaming and hoping/lobbying are different things. Mag limits are stupid. Also. what's wrong with badass?

It seems for some reason you're stubborn on accusing everybody of trying to look badass.

So i'll try to explain it to you a second time, in case my post #15 wasn't clear somehow:

standard 5/30 rounds are almost half the price of the 5-rounders. They are way easier to find as well.

So yeah, while you think you're a genius for wanting smaller mags, you're spending more money and having a harder time locating mags then the rest of us.

But hey, if thats what it takes for you to feel smarter than all these "badasses" with banana mags, be my guest.

Just a hint though, joke's on you.

Nope not trolling. Just trying to get informed. I actually shoot a sks so it makes no difference to me. Mine is pinned at 5 like everyone else's in Canada. if I could find a 5 rnd. mag for it and have it be flush with the stock I would do so. I had not realized that they were cheaper and easier to find for other guns. I had not thought about the fact that it would make it easier to change out. If I had a AR or similar rifle I might use a big mag for the above stated reason's but I still think it would look a little dumb to have a 30 rnd. mag when everyone around you knows its only a 5rnder.
