Why do we start to Hate some calibers?

For the most part, same here. With the years I've got behind me and with the calibres I've had and still have, I have little inclination to trade off them, in favour of getting the 'newest kid' on the block. However, that being said, if my years of 'accumulating' were just starting, the newest and latest would be given at least some due consideration.

Who hunts with a 6.5x47 Lapua?

The first 6.5 x 47 Lapua I built killed an elk at 440 yards ... two shots about an inch apart. I saw the video he made of the hunt.
