Everyone, at some point needs to take a stand for what they believe in. They should be commended, not condoned. With that being said, I feel all stores can have their bad days, and their good days. I don't neccesarily agree that by what an employee said on here, should be fowarded off to their superiour. I don't like messing with somebody's paycheck. Everyone needs a job, and have their own bills to pay, and crosses to bare. If anything at all constructive is to come out of this thread, the employee (s) we have been speaking to should accept this as a wake up call and perhaps take some of these peoples feelings to heart. It's easy to simply talk big, act like a jerk and go on with your life. That applies to those on both sides of the counter. Those of us on the paying side should also take note, and understand that the guys behind the counter often do what the boss tells them to. Good or bad. Some individuals may have completly abandoned one shop or the other. Others will view them in a different light. While others still will go on spending their money in these places without ever having a problem. Alot of tension has arisen on this thread, and things being said that may or may not be regretable. Let's just hope as a whole that in the future, everyone is a little more receptive of one another both instore, and online.

Hey, you know what? ==== I've never heard ANY complains about the WSS store in Lethbridge. I've been there and bought my .338 from them, a real bunch of good guys. You know why? - best I can figure is there not wound up & uptight like most city folks. :D

Sorry, I had to Edit this, I spelled "not" wrong if you can believe it. duhhhh

if for no other reasoning I quite dealing with a company and or any company, it would be because some loudmouthed 10 dollar an hour employee was spouting off instead of dealing with the issue and handing it over to someone in charge! And realy is it worth getting a boot out of CGN for a few days over a maturity issue? And obviously Greg got his point across loud and clear if we have employees and supervisors now involved in this thread!

and Clarke yer gonna get popcorn stuck in yer teeth over this one haha

I wouldn't shop there either. Is it supposed to be a surprise every time you go to the cash? What's the real price going to be?

"Hey man, it doesn't matter, the guy's got to make a buck. Ring up whatever you like. I'll pay anything you deem is right!"

If this sounds stupid, it's because it is! If it sounds right, step over here. I've got something to sell you! hehehehe...

if this was my place of employment, i'd be doing big time damage control right now to ensure a little issue like this doesn't quickly escalate into a larger issue, which this already has. at this time, there's been about 1,700 hits on this thread which is great advertizing for other gun stores in edmonton and not as good for wss. if reading this thread causes even a small percentage of these 1,700 readers decide to shop elsewhere in edmonton for their gun/shooting supplies, then you've really shot yourself and your store in the foot by continuing to shoot off at the mouth.

You must be on some sort of power trip, or is it masterbation at the highest level for you behind the keyboard?

There's a lot of "ifs" in your statments. You seem to be living in a fantasy world as you are in control of nothing. If.......If.......If.......

Gregc, the Terminator and Conqueror of the keyboard!!! Boring.

1700 hits, Yawn. Remember this is Canadian Gun Nutz and 60 percent of the members are under 16. Grow up pal. You must be an Antigun Liberal with an agenda trying to shutdown gunstores.

GregC: I've heard that Mountain Equipment Co-op sells headlights at a great price, maybe you should support them instead...Heard they're antigun also..

As for you noticing my VW 4 sale, that pretty much means that you did your homework on me..I've got nothing to hide unlike yourself & maybe I just put my car for sale overthere because of the amount of people that buy stuff at WSS is colossal compared to the other ones even if they do make mistakes sometimes.
