The Police models also had the beefier butt stock on them. These are really great rifles. Bit on the heavy side, and will surprise you when you pick one up for the first time, as they are a smaller carbine sized gun. The 1910 especially! That's a huge counterweight under the forend on those babies!! I have a bunch of them, and they are fun to shoot! Still haven't had the chance to drop a deer with one of the 1907's or 1910's I have yet.IIRC, from Ian, it's the factory sling swivels and that extra little curl on that end of the cocking lever.
I don't know what else myself.
I wonder if someone had it reamed for 351. I assume 351 would not fit the magazine?lol, totally agree with the heavy trigger.
inherited a 1905 stamped 35wsl some time ago.
came with a box of 351sl, shouldn't chamber them but it does...
I'm certainly not inclined to try it but I did find some 35's that work fine.
Yes definitely. The slide weight is considerably heavier in a 351 to account for it.possibly, the longer 351's will load & chamber from the magazine.
mag has no stampings to indicate caliber.
just not comfortable enough to find out lol.
351's are loaded a fair bit hotter from what i understand.
I think that is a 351 magazine. So next question is why a 351 chambers at all. These calibres are rimless and seat on the case mouth, and to a degree in the case taper, not the rim. Does a 35 go deeper into the chamber? The one pic shows both a 351 & 35 loaded into the magazine
